Password Statistics

You've already password protected your private content. Now, it's likely that you'd like to know who has accessed your content with those passwords and whether there is any password abuse. Password Statistics extension helps you do just that.

Real-time report on who have entered passwords

Password Statistics supports tracking these passwords out of the box.

Sitewide (SWP) passwords: who use SWP passwords to access your private site.

Individual page (PPF) passwords: which password protected pages are unlocked and who has unlocked them.

Part of content (PCP) passwords: who use shortcode global passwords to unlock protected content sections on your website.

Access Levels (AL) passwords: who use Access Levels passwords to access your private categories.

Groups passwords: which Groups passwords are used to unlock a group of protected pages and who has unlocked them.

Our extension will save information of users who have used your passwords to access protected content, including usernames, IP addresses, access time, browsers and much more in one dashboard page.

Comprehensive Overview

You can access all the tracking information in one place. Select which type of password usage you want to check and simply click "Apply" to see it.

Our extension will list all password protected pages and posts that have been accessed by valid passwords. You can sort them alphabetically as well.

Restrict Protected Content Access to Single User

Our Statistics extension is working with Smart Restriction to limit the number of users allowed to access your protected content at a time, using the same password.

As an admin, you’ll be able to remove the current user’s cookie expiration time in the Statistics database and let someone else use that password.

For example, user A is using password "123" to access your protected content. Since only 1 person is allowed to use password 123 at a time, user B cannot have access until user A’s cookie expires.

Instead of waiting for user A’s cookie to expire, you can remove his expiration time and let user B use the password.

Track Additional Fields, i.e. Username and Email

You can also track additional information, such as email and username, that users are required to enter together with passwords to unlock content protection or partial content protection.

Export Password Data

Simply export all tracking information into a CSV file with a single click.
Also, you can select a time period for which data will be exported.

Suspicious Password Usage

The Unique IP Addresses, Total Usage, and Access Date give you deeper insights into whether there is any suspicious password usage. For example, if there is a significant difference between the Total Usage and Unique IP addresses, chances are your passwords have been shared across multiple users.

You can then deactivate or delete these suspicious passwords if necessary. Blocking suspicious IP addresses from visiting your private site is another solution as well.

As of now, we can only track active passwords usage.

Your passwords can only be tracked after you activate our Statistics extension and not the PPWP Pro. What's more, you cannot track incorrect, inactive, and expired passwords entered with any of our add-ons at the moment.

Upcoming Features
